The little magenta car is totaled, but our director Xina walked away without injury.

On June 4, we canceled the Kickstarter for this project at this time. We have both good and bad news to share with you. On the way out of Flipside (The first Texas Burning Man Regional Event,) our director, Xina Ocasio, was in a major car wreck and totaled her car, thereby taking her off the road unexpectedly. While she was able to walk away from the crash with just a few scratches, this unfortunate occurrence has created a setback for our filming schedule, as she is also our principal camera operator. Additionally, news from the home front requires Xina to take a break from the project for a short while to spend important time with her family now. Both producers, Jason Asbahr and Peggy Ellithorpe, firmly support this and feel that family has to come first, and we have encouraged to take this break from the project at this time.

In the meantime, the team is taking this time to work on the footage that we have already acquired, in order to firm up the the story for the film. We do expect that Xina will return to the road to gather footage for the film, and we have a few ringers out there who have expressed an interest in being in places where we cannot get to during this upcoming time frame.

We are, as a team, taking this moment to reevaluate the direction of the film, as we do confidently believe that inside the interviews we’ve gotten, we have an amazing story to tell! If you are still interested in contributing to the project we have a link on our film page at to make the paypal contribution.

Stay tuned to this facebook page, as we’ll be posting little gems of the footage we’ve gotten so far. Tell your friends to like the page, repost our links as they appear in the coming weeks. We also have a Twitter account for the film, so follow us @Particip8

We want to thank you for your support thus far, and please stay tuned. We are turning inward for a bit, and we will re-emerge soon, to gather more footage as needed, get the editing done, and bring you an amazing film on the silver screen! The filming will continue in time, and it will be even more amazing than we have previously thought!

In deepest appreciation for your support,

Xina Ocasio, Director

Jason Asbahr and Peggy Ellithorpe, Producers
